I’ve been M.I.A. this week lying low. In hibernation mode. Trying to get things done while freezing and chilled to the bone. How about you? 😆
The weather has been quite mild throughout December so getting a wallop of cold has taken some getting used to.
Being from Canada would make one naturally assume that we’re used to these kind of temperatures but for me, there really is no getting used to it.
I’ve been cutting back on my walks because of the sub-zero temperatures (around -20 C with the wind chill) but here’s a shot I took down at the beach earlier this week. You’d think the bone chilling cold would be a deterrent for the birds. Not so. There were hundreds of swans, geese and ducks at the lake. Their sheer numbers surprised me.
I’m going to go back to shivering in my freezing cold office (despite the heat blasting) but I’ll be sharing some more bird tales soon. I hope you have a fabulous rest of your weekend, or a great start to your week, depending on where you are in the world. 💗
